The past year was a huge success for us. Growing, learning, gathering and sowing, all while working towards peace and unity. We engaged with our at risk community, mentoring and loving them. Our 2nd annual COP Slam Tourney brought b-ball players, and supporters together with law enforcement for tough competition, good fun and great prizes. The Breaking Thru The Untrust events successfully lead law enforcement and our ex-con /recovery community to a table to break bread, have fellowship, and discuss hard topics while humanizing the badge and educating one another. And we continued to move peace and unity into areas of division to reconcile matters with GOD and our neighbors.

Community Project Love was successfully launched and we awarded two $2,500 scholarships to sponsor these at-risk high school students with clothing, hygiene products, and funding for school events and sports activities. We recruited volunteer mentors that have provided hair cuts, shopping trips, and discipleship. We’ve also signed on our first education tutor who will join our social workers, ex-cons, prayer warriors, and law enforcement volunteers, who with excellence have collaborated to help guide and love on our students.

We are committed to increase our ability to reach and bless more students in the upcoming 2023 /2024 year and to expand our programs to reach at-risk families. A task we cannot accomplish without community partnerships. An example of our work and need for support involves a family of 4 we were introduced to this past Friday, February 17th. They are working with a local social services agency to get moved from a broke down RV in Hazel Dell into housing. Their 2 boys, A.L. 5, and P.J. 6 are challenged with getting to school bathed and in clean clothes, both of which greatly impact their self esteem and identity. A. L. is a Spider-Man fan and wears 7m clothes and size 11w youth sized shoes. P.J. loves Sonic and wears size 8m clothes and size 12 youth shoes. We are in the process of filling the boys clothing needs and finding mentoring partners for the kids and parents. We are asking you to consider our nonprofit where all your donated money is used locally to help support our at risk youth and families, to move love and peace forward, and bring unity into  our community.

You can help by giving a one time donation or signing up for monthly giving where you choose how much and when you give. We are so excited for the work we’re investing in this new year and all that GOD has in store for our mission.

Also; if you have a calling and want to volunteer with us, reach out and let us know your interest and availability. The harvest is plenty and the workers are few. We’d love to connect with you.

We thank you all for helping The PeaceMakers PNW continue to give and be love to our community.
