What is peace, if not the reconciliation of man to his Creator? It is but a maddening illusion, fueling anger and discontent. Inciting brother to rise against brother and slander their children’s children. It is the reflection of poverty, addiction, and destruction we face daily. It is a death sentence to our ever weakening values and the beginning of the end of any gains towards equality.

The division between our communities of color and law enforcement rose from a desire for equality. The solution promoted was a reflection of our disdain for God and an accepted guarantee for failure. Nevertheless, well intentioned and ill intended citizens rallied under the flag of change and marched into destruction. Many suffered loss, frustration was experienced by all, families were torn, and nothing has changed.

Pride has but one desire, power, and power gains peace through submission. Still, we ignore this fact and attempt to force peace in the same way our adversaries have trampled over justice and equality through the enacting of meaningless law. Neighbors, friends, and loved ones, I urge you to reflect on what you are doing. The law has never altered the culture of racism. Destroying your neighbors property, demeaning one another, and sitting in silence, doesn’t benefit any of us. So, let’s us rise under the Lord’s banner, arming ourselves in love, compassion, mercy, grace, and forgiveness, that we may thrive in unity and conquer the vileness of racism and hate ~ LZ,
